Finding Opportunities From Setbacks

Ok, we all know gas prices are effecting all industry sectors. We also know there is little we can do about it. What can we control? If you are a sales representative who relies on giving onsite presentations to your prospective clients, you might want to consider hosting an internet-based meeting. There are a few programs out there that are decent despite the infancy of this type of program. I have looked Adobe's Acrobat Connect and WebEx as well as Citrix's "GoTo Meeting". I have to say if you want a great interactive package that allows you to simply send a link and your client is looking at your desktop in seconds, I would go with Citrix. GoToMeeting is an interactive web-based program allowing you to chat with all your attendees, give them the ability to take over the screen, you can even hand them a highlighter! It is very easy to use. Although it is practically self-explanatory, I would recommend the hour training webinar, I got a lot of good tips from it and it is not rushed. You are not allowed to ask questions during the seminar but, if you have a question, you can email it to them after the session has ended. This was not a problem for me as I enjoyed the uninterrupted class without having to stop for questions. I believe today people will accept and understand the need for a webinar in place of a personal visit.
